The Benefits and Effectiveness of Online Hypnotherapy

 

I offered online sessions to clients long before COVID-19 but, in the face of lockdowns and social distancing, all of my sessions are now run in this manner. These now form part of an important service to clients looking for support with many different mental health issues currently.

Here I take a brief look at the advantages of online therapy and answer some of the questions that you may have. Helping you decide if hypnotherapy online is for you. Online hypnotherapy means that clients from rural or remote areas have the means to access help when they need it. Clients have access to a service that may not have been feasible before due to their location or lack of transport. Add to that the convenience of cutting out travelling time and parking issues when visiting a clinic and the whole experience is so much more relaxing.

Some clients may have mobility issues due to disability or mental health issues which makes a visit to clinic difficult or uncomfortable. Online hypnotherapy sessions take away all these limitations, allowing clients to “arrive” at sessions relaxed and feeling calm in their own environment.

Without these barriers of location and mobility, sessions are available to even more people who are seeking help with mental health concerns. These sessions allow me to talk through issues in a safe and professional environment. Clients are taught new coping strategies and healthy new behaviours which they can use in everyday life.

As hypnotherapy sessions are carried out from the comfort of your home it makes it easier to arrange for these to be at your convenience. Maybe in your lunch hour, break or even after the workday has finished and the children are in bed.

Yes. Online hypnotherapy provides the same level of care and does not rely on the therapist being in the room with you.

Studies carried out concluded that many mental health disorders can be treated just as effectively online as face to face.

I work on the Zoom platform for online hypnotherapy sessions, and it couldn’t be easier to use. We would agree to a date and time for your session, then a safe and secure link will be emailed to you. All you will need is a reliable internet connection and a quiet comfortable place to relax and the use of a laptop, tablet, or phone to join your session.

  1. How do I know online hypnotherapy will work for me?

Clients find it easy to discuss their concerns with me and appreciate having my undivided attention when online together. You can rest assured that online hypnotherapy is just as effective as face-to-face sessions, so now you only need to find the therapist that is right for you. You need to like, trust and feel comfortable talking with your chosen hypnotherapist, which is why I offer a free telephone consultation so that we can talk through all the questions you have before moving on with treatment.
